The district continues to investigate the possibility of moving to a K-2 / 3-5 model for our elementary schools.  This will continue for the next 6 months or so, with the FRSD school board making a decision in the Fall of 26', for a possible change in the Fall of 27'.

We have just gone live with a page on our district website, that shares a lot of information on this topic.  Please check it out when you get a chance.  The page shares information around why this is being explored, issues that have been identified, possible solutions to those, as well as the benefits of such a model.
