Thank You for Helping Drive Our District-Wide Attendance Improvement!

Dear FRSD Families,
We are excited to share some fantastic news across our school district: student attendance is up! Currently, 82% of our students have missed less than 2 days of school so far, this is an improvement of almost 10% compared to last year at this time! 

This success happens because of you. Getting kids out the door every morning, balancing busy schedules, and prioritizing daily attendance takes real dedication. We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our parents and guardians for your partnership in making every school day count.
Your efforts have a direct impact on classroom achievement:

• Early Reading Success: Students with strong attendance in early grades are far more likely to read proficiently by third grade—a key benchmark for long-term learning.
• Stronger Academic Performance: Missing just two days a month can create learning gaps in math and reading, while consistent attendance keeps students on track and confident.
• Pathways to Graduation: Daily presence in middle and high school directly leads to higher GPAs and on-time graduation rates.
